My friend and fellow pastor Katie Mulligan is coming out to the world today and asked me if I would help retell her story. Katie is a mom, phd student, pastor, and queer. Instead of of me re-posting her story here on the Whiskey Preacher I am providing a link to her new released blog Inside Outed where you can read her story first hand. I hope that you too will find encouragement from Katie’s story whether you contemplating on coming out tomorrow for National Coming Out Day or a straight ally like myself that finds hope in the fact that people are embracing themselves as the creation that the Creator created them to be. So, let us embrace Katie as she has invited us into her story and as she begins life of this side of the closet.
